The Elder Statesman was established in 2007 in Los Angeles by Greg Chait. The artisanal cashmere brand specializes in supremely luxurious pieces with a West Coast look and attitude. The globally sourced cashmere is hand-loomed and tie-dyed by Chait's own team of expert craftsmen. Beginning with custom blankets, Chait transitioned into knitted hats before expanding to include full ready-to-wear, accessories, home interiors and eyewear collections.
