Montale Fragrances

Pierre Montale established his eponymous line of fragrances in Paris in 2005, inspired by the woody aromas of the Middle East and Asia. Namely, Montale fixated on a rare ingredient called oud, a distinctively scented resin that comes from the wood of the agar tree known colloquially as the “wood of the gods.” Woody undertones are a signature of Montale fragrances, which also feature natural essences of rose, vanilla, jasmine, bergamot, amber, and a range of other exotic scents. Montale perfumes are packaged in polished aluminum bottles to protect and preserve the fragrances. Shop a selection of perfumes by Montale at Bergdorf Goodman.
