Maison Margiela is a French fashion house founded in 1988 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela. A fusion of masculine and feminine aesthetics, Maison Margiela specializes in cerebral and deconstructed looks that transcend gender. The label is currently under the creative direction of British couturier John Galliano, and has held the official Haute Couture appellation since 2012.
