    What is GiftNow™?

    GiftNow is an innovative way to give gifts online. With this new gifting service, you always choose the perfect gift - because before it ships, gift recipients can change size, color, or style, or exchange the gift for something they choose. Gifts sent with GiftNow are delivered instantly via email, a wonderful solution if you forgot or waited until the last minute. We think you'll love it. Try it now!

    SENDING GIFTS WITH GIFTNOW

    Do I need to know the recipient's preferred color, size, style or shipping address?
    No, your gift recipient has the option to choose their preferred color, size and style when they accept your gift. They will also provide their shipping address.

    I know the recipient's preferred color, size and style. Can I select these options?
    Yes, your selection will be treated as a gift suggestion. Your gift recipient still has the option to choose their preferred color, size and style when they accept the gift.

    Can I send gifts on desktop, tablet, or mobile?
    Yes, you can send gifts on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

    Can I send more than one item as a gift?
    At this time, you can only send one item as a gift.

    Can I schedule a gift for a specific date?
    Yes, you can schedule a gift to be sent up to 12 months from the order date.

    How are tax and shipping costs estimated?
    We believe the recipient should be able to accept the gift without any out-of-pocket expenses. Our default estimation covers tax and shipping to anywhere in the U.S. If you select a state, we estimate tax and shipping for that state.

    Can I use promo codes?
    At this time, promo codes are not supported.

    As an InCircle Customer, can I earn InCircle points?
    At this time, you cannot use a Bergdorf Goodman charge card as payment for GiftNow gifts.

    Can I add gift packaging?
    At this time, gift packaging is not available.

    Are there items that cannot be gifted with GiftNow?
    Exclusions include, but are not limited to; Gift with Purchases, Merchandise shipped directly from our vendors, Beauty Replinishment program, preorder and back order items, gift cards, merchandise that includes overweight /oversized charges, and monogrammed merchandise.

    Can a GiftNow gift be picked up at a store location?
    At this time, a GiftNow gift cannot be picked up at a store location.

    How does the recipient receive my gift?
    Your recipient receives an email with a link to our website, where a gift box opens to reveal their gift.

    When does the recipient receive the gift email?
    The recipient usually receives the gift within a few hours, or on the date you select.

    What happens if the item is unavailable when the recipient opens the gift?
    If the item is unavailable, they will receive the item as a gift suggestion, along with gift credit. They can use it to purchase a similar item, or anything else they like.

    What happens if the price of the item is different when the recipient opens the gift?
    If the price is lower, the price difference is credited back as a refund to your account. If the price of the item increases, they will receive the item as a gift suggestion, along with gift credit. They can use it to purchase a similar item, or anything else they like.

    STATUS & ORDER CHANGES

    How can I check the status of the gift?
    We will send you email updates as the status of your gift changes (when your gift is sent, when your recipient opens your gift, if your gift order could not be processed, etc.). You can also check the status of your gift in the status screen, which can be accessed from the order confirmation emails.

    Why was the gift order not processed? What can I do?
    This may happen if our GiftNow Experience team cannot verify some of the billing information for the order. We suggest placing the gift order again with a different credit card or updated billing information.

    The recipient did not receive the gift email. Can it be resent?
    If your recipient did not receive the gift email, we suggest they check their Inbox or Spam folder. We are also happy to resend the gift email. Please contact the GiftNow Experience team at bergdorfgoodman-support@loopgift.com.

    The recipient deleted the gift email. Can it be resent?
    We are happy to resend the gift email. Please contact the GiftNow Experience team at bergdorfgoodman-support@loopgift.com.

    The recipient deleted the gift credit balance email. Can it be resent?
    We are happy to resend the credit balance email. Please contact the GiftNow Experience team at bergdorfgoodman-support@loopgift.com.

    I selected the wrong color, size, or style in the gift order. Can it be changed?
    At this time, item details cannot be changed. However, your recipient always has the option to choose their preferred color, size, or style when they accept the gift.

    I entered the wrong email address for the recipient. Can it be updated?
    Yes, you can update the recipient's email address on the status screen, which can be accessed from the order confirmation emails.

    I scheduled the gift for the wrong date. Can it be updated?
    Yes, you can update the scheduled date on the status screen, which can be accessed from the order confirmation emails.

    I made a mistake in the recipient's name. Can it be updated?
    Yes, we are happy to edit the name. Please contact the GiftNow Experience team at bergdorfgoodman-support@loopgift.com.

    ACCEPTING & EXCHANGING GIFTNOW GIFTS

    Can I redeem gifts on desktop, tablet, or mobile?
    Yes, you can redeem gifts on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

    How do I accept the gift?
    Click on the link in the gift email. If you choose to accept your gift, you can select your preferred options (size, color, style), and provide your shipping address.

    How do I exchange the gift for other items?
    Click on the link in the gift email. If you choose to exchange your gift, you'll receive gift credit for the full amount of your gift. You can use it to purchase a similar item, or anything else you like.

    What if I exchange for items that are more or less expensive?
    If the exchanged item is more expensive, you can pay the difference in price or select an alternate gift. If the exchanged item is less expensive, the balance will remain as gift credit that you can use for future purchases.

    Will the gift sender know that I exchanged the gift?
    No, the sender will not know about your specific gift choice.

    Why do I see gift credit, instead of an actual item?
    This may happen if the original item your gift sender selected is unavailable at the time you opened the gift. In this case, you'll see their selection as a suggestion, and receive gift credit for the full amount of the gift.

    Do I have to redeem the gift before a specific date?
    No, you can redeem your gift at any time. However, there is a higher chance that the item may be unavailable at a later date.

    When I click the gift email link, I don't see a gift. What can I do?
    Check that javascript is enabled in your browser settings or open the link in another browser. If that doesn't work, we are happy to assist. Please contact the GiftNow Experience team at bergdorfgoodman-support@loopgift.com.

    When I try to accept the gift, there is an error. What can I do?
    Please contact the GiftNow Experience team at bergdorfgoodman-support@loopgift.com, and provide a description or screenshots of the error.

    If I accept the gift, can I pick it up in-store?
    At this point, we do not support in-store pick-ups.

    If I exchange, can I use the BG Virtual Gift Card in-store?
    BG Virtual Gift Cards may be redeemed at Bergdorf Goodman by Mail (phone orders) or any Bergdorf Goodman store, in addition to BergdorfGoodman.com.

    Why am I asked to add funds when accepting the gift?
    If tax and shipping charges exceed the amount estimated at time of purchase, you'll be asked to add funds to cover this difference. If you don't wish to cover the difference, you can always exchange for an alternative gift.

    SHIPPING & RETURNS

    When will the gift be shipped and when will it arrive?
    The gift will be shipped after the recipient accepts their gift. Shipping time may vary by item. Please refer to our shipping policy for more information. At this time, gift items are shipped via "standard shipping" only.

    Is there an expedited shipping option?
    At this time, gifts are shipped via "standard shipping" only.

    Can the gift be shipped to an address outside of the U.S.?
    At this time, gifts can be shipped only to the 50 states. No international shipping.

    What is the return and exchange policy for gifts that have been shipped?
    Gifts that have been shipped can be returned or exchanged in most cases. Please click here to refer to our complete return and exchange policy.

    Is there a way to check the shipping and delivery status of the gift?
    When the recipient accepts the gift, they'll be given an order number and a tracking link to check shipping and delivery status.

    What can be done if the gift has not arrived after the estimated delivery date?
    If the status in our order tracker shows the gift as delivered, but you can't find the package, we will investigate this for you. Please contact the Bergdorf Goodman Customer Service team at 1.888.774.2424 with your accepted gift order number.

    What can be done if there is something wrong with the gift item?
    If the item is damaged or the wrong item was shipped, we will investigate this for you. Please contact the Bergdorf Goodman Customer Service team at 1.888.774.2424 with your accepted gift order number and a description of the issue.

    PAYMENTS & REFUNDS

    What payment methods do you accept?
    Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept Paypal.

    When will I be charged for the order?
    An authorization hold will be placed on your card when you place the gift order. This hold secures the funds, and is not charged until your order is processed.

    The order was not processed. Why do I still see a charge?
    An authorization hold was placed on your card when you placed the gift order. Depending on your bank or credit card company, you should see the hold removed from your payment account within 2-4 business days.

    I want to cancel a gift order. What is the refund policy?
    If the gift has not been redeemed, we can cancel your order and process a refund. If the gift has been redeemed, we cannot process a refund. You may cancel your gift order on the status screen, which can be accessed from the order confirmation emails.

    I canceled the gift order. When will I see the refund?
    Refunds are processed within 24-48 hours. Depending on your bank or credit card company, you should see the refund credited back to your payment account within 4-6 business days. If you have additional questions about a refund, please contact the GiftNow Experience team at bergdorfgoodman-support@loopgift.com.

    There are charges for the order that I don't understand. What can I do?
    We will investigate this for you. Please contact the GiftNow Experience team at bergdorfgoodman-support@loopgift.com with your order number.

    SECURITY & RELIABILITY

    Is the order information secure?
    Your financial and personal information entered in the GiftNow checkout is transmitted using the https protocol over a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). The order process is fully PCI compliant, and all personally identifiable information is encrypted on our servers. We also perform penetration tests on a regular basis to make sure the service is secure.

    How can I be sure that gift emails don't get lost?
    Our emails are designed with industry-standard best practices for successful email delivery. We also test the deliverability of our emails on a regular basis, across various email service providers and applications. If a gift recipient's email bounces or is blocked by their email server, we contact the sender for an alternate email address. If a recipient misses the gift notification, we will send gift reminders.

    How can I prevent unauthorized access to the gift?
    Every gift order is protected by a secret sender and recipient key. The keys are unique and encrypted on our server. The only way to access your gift would be from the link in gift emails. If you share the gift emails, you would be sharing your secret keys, and as such, access to your gift. If you suspect that someone has unauthorized access to the gift emails, please contact our GiftNow Experience team at bergdorfgoodman-support@loopgift.com immediately. If the gift has not been redeemed, we can update the secret keys and resend the gift email to a secure email address.
