About Alison Wood: Born and Raised in the quaint lakeside town of Racine, Wisconsin, designer Alison Wood brings a dynamic ingenuity to her handbags, combining her Midwestern appreciation for durability and craftsmanship with the urban edgy aesthetic of her adopted home of the past 11 years, New York City. Her love for design, beautiful lamb & cow skins and a need for a large, comfortable bag led her to toy with a few designs of her own. Her leather comes directly from a small tannery outside of Solofra, Italy which is delivered to her craftsmen in her hometown, New York City, giving Alison the ability to keep a keen eye on detail and quality.
